Paraguay Soy Model

  • We have multiple datasources of production: COPECO for ratios, and another dataset for the actual production that gets exported (there is a good match here).
  • Don't have information on silo capacity, so we assume all silos have the same capacity.

First step is to run a pure LP from production to logistics hubs over the whole country, for soybeans.

Then we run a set of second LPs from logistics hub to the export; on LP per product (oil, bean, etc,). There is a discount here based on ownership:

  • Group into individual traders, except for ones that don't own silos which all go into one group.
