States and Municipalities shares in Brazil beef SEI-PCS vs MDIC

This analysis compares the evolution of the share of state and municipality production across the years, between the results of SEI-PCS v2.2.1 (excluding domestic) and the MDIC municipality export data, filtered by beef hs4 codes.

The main sources of data are:

Consolidated Brazil Beef SEI-PCS v2.2.1 results: s3://trase-storage/brazil/beef/sei_pcs/v2.2.1/post_embedding/brazil_beef_sei_pcs_v2_2_1_for_ingest_2010_2023.parquet

For each dataset and year, we rank all states by volume. Then we filter to the top states and plot a line chart.
