• This scripts produces a cleaned jurisdictional map for Cote d’Ivoire, and shows the different levels included.
• Our jurisdictional map contains four levels of jurisdictions (Country -> Département).
• It’s possible to go down to the level of 113 sous-préfectures (i.e. one level smaller than département), but I think the sous-préfecture data are incomplete and for the SEI-PCS model, I propose we use the département as our jurisdictional unit of analysis.
• Note: this jurisdictional map applies to the boundaries after the 2011 reforms (https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Districts_de_C%C3%B4te_d%E2%80%99Ivoire#Changements_des_subdivisions_administratives_de_2011)
