CD-MDIC Merge

This folder contains code adapted from the files used to merge soy CDs and MDIC files - adapted for Brazilian beef.

It is a work-in-progress.

Ultimately, this folder should everything you need to add a state of origin to flows from DATAMYNE/THIRD_PARTY

The scripts are as follows:

  • 1-prepare_cd - pulls CD files from s3, filters to beef and outputs to DATA/IN
  • 2-prepare_mdic - pulls MDIC files from s3, filter to beef and output to DATA/IN
  • 3-align_cd_mdic - reads CD and MDIC and aligns fields for merging
  • 4-merge_cd_mdic - merges CD and MDIC - based on Steve's original script
  • 5-check_cd_mdic - compares results of merge with archived runs from Steve
